Eventeer is an event-community management platform designed to simplify the management of events and communities. This product is one of innovation that incubated in Digital Amoeba Telkom.

The initial idea began in 2021 when a problem arose in managing community-based learning at Digital Amoeba Telkom, specifically with the digital talent bootcamp named Telkom Athon program. This learning program facilitates Telkom employees who want to learn digital skills. Given their busy operational work schedules, it would be more efficient if the learning could be provided in the form of community sharing sessions.

76% internet user participated in online community (Amity Statistics, 2020). 60% most businesses has a branded online community (Forrester Report CX).

Typically, an audience shares common interests and problems. B2B companies can manage and engage with them to convert them according to their goals (e.g., potential leads, new customers, community members, etc.).

The difficulty of managing long-term event-based communities, where multiple tools are used sporadically and separately, can lead to a loss of engagement, interaction, and ultimately, the event not reaching its full potential.

According to our use case, 28 out of 41 people experience the same challenges in managing events and communities!

Until now, Eventeer successfully managed 52+ Community in Internal Telkom with more than 5,000 members that has 44% active user every period of time (depends of event and community).

Lesson learned

At Eventeer, I've learned a great deal about taking on the roles of an innovator and a digital talent. The biggest challenge has been figuring out how to validate an impactful business model without overlooking user needs. Throughout our journey until December 2024, I gained invaluable experience managing teams across business, tech, and product divisions.

Each obstacle, from aligning stakeholder expectations to maintaining user engagement, became an opportunity to grow as a product manager. It taught me that innovation isn't just about building solutions, it's about having the courage to learn from every outcome. As they say, there is no failure, only feedback—and it's this mindset that transforms every experience into a catalyst for future innovation.
